Local-first product terms
Clear terms for an optional account.
The Todo product remains usable without an account. Sign-in adds identity and session management; it does not silently change how local work is stored.

1. Using TEND
These terms govern use of the TEND Todo product and its optional account service. You must use the service lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt it, bypass security controls, impersonate another person, or access another user's account.
2. Local-first data
Todo content is local-first and remains in your browser during the first account stage. You are responsible for device access and for making local backups where the product provides that capability. Clearing browser storage, changing profiles, or losing a device may remove local data. Signing in is not a cloud backup.
3. Accounts and security
You may use a supported Google or Apple identity, and only an officially available OpenAI/ChatGPT identity option. You are responsible for protecting your provider account and device. Notify the available support channel if you believe a TEND session has been compromised.
4. Provider terms
Your use of Google, Apple, OpenAI, or ChatGPT remains subject to the applicable provider terms and privacy rules. TEND does not control provider availability, consent screens, account suspension, or changes to provider protocols.
5. Sessions and termination
You may terminate a TEND session by using the secure sign-out control. TEND may expire or revoke a session to enforce time limits, respond to risk, protect users, or maintain the service. Signing out of TEND does not terminate your global provider session or revoke provider consent; those controls remain with the provider.
6. Separate future services
Cloud sync is a separate future capability requiring its own design, consent, data migration, and acceptance. Subscription is also a separate future capability with its own pricing and terms. Neither feature is included merely because you sign in.
7. Availability and changes
TEND is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be corrected, limited, or withdrawn to protect stability and security. Provider outages and local browser or device failures may affect use. Material changes to these terms will be shown through an updated effective date.
8. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TEND is not responsible for losses caused by user-controlled deletion of browser data, unsupported modifications, provider outages, or use contrary to these terms. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

4. 供应商条款
使用 Google、Apple、OpenAI 或 ChatGPT 仍需遵守相应供应商的条款与隐私规则。TEND 无法控制供应商可用性、同意页面、账户停用或协议变更。
5. 会话与终止
你可以使用安全退出功能终止 TEND 会话。为执行时限、响应风险、保护用户或维护服务，TEND 也可能使会话过期或撤销会话。退出 TEND 不会终止供应商的全局登录，也不会撤销供应商授权；这些控制仍由相应供应商提供。
6. 独立的未来服务
云同步是独立的未来功能，需要单独的设计、同意、数据迁移和验收。订阅也是独立的未来功能，会有单独的价格和条款。登录本身不会自动包含或启用这些功能。
7. 可用性与变更
TEND 按可用状态提供。为了稳定性和安全，功能可能被修复、限制或停止。供应商中断以及本地浏览器或设备故障可能影响使用。重大条款变更会通过新的生效日期说明。
8. 责任边界
在适用法律允许的范围内，对于用户主动删除浏览器数据、不受支持的修改、供应商中断或违反本条款的使用所造成的损失，TEND 不承担责任。本条款不限制法律上不可限制的权利。
